Belgin Karaman Yuncu was born and raised in İzmir. She graduated from Ege University with a degree in American Culture and Literature.

 

She continued her academic journey with postgraduate studies at the London School of Business and Finance, and further specialized in art market and trend analysis at Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

 

She currently serves as a lecturer at İzmir University of Economics, teaching courses in modern art and design, visual culture, and spatial experience. Her postgraduate and doctoral research in Design Studies focuses on the role of art in the production of space and identity.

 

She designed and led modern art certificate programs at Arkas Art Center.

 

She actively follows international art fairs and biennials, particularly across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, and South Korea.

 

Her work is grounded in the belief that art generates long-term cultural and strategic value when positioned within context.

 

The value of art is constructed within context.
